I mite be inclined to go with the Peace dollar even tho 60 is a lousy grade. The 95-o in circ is pretty common unless its exceptional for the grade.

    Peace Dollar

While the 60 is usually an ugly grade, its not always so. Peace Dollar in general is just a better looking coin, and one I would enjoy owning more than the morgan.

Now if you're asking about future increase.......well, not sure.

I'd most likely go with the 1928, especially if buying for resale. Make sure any raw '28 Peace Dollar offered is authentic.image

If you twisted my arm, I be inclined to go with the Peace Dollar, but I don't care for either piece. Both of them are in undesirable grades. MS-60 coins are really ugly. The main advantage that the 1928 Peace Dollar has is that the coin’s price does not go down that much in the lower grades. Therefore I could sell that coin for a better price. Some collectors are always looking for lower grade examples of that coin.

Many dealers think that the 1895-O silver dollar is an overrated, overpriced coin in the circulated grades. The coin is a rarity to true Mint State, but there are lots of circulated ones around. Good is a very low grade for that coin or for any Morgan Dollar for that matter. As such I would not have much use for any Morgan in Good except for a REAL 1895-P or an 1893-S

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

It's late but I'm going to jump in anyway.

Gotta go with the 28 Peace.

I think it will have an upside potential even at that grade.

    Peace, broimage
  • Peace, man.
  • I'm not into either series, but I'd go with the 1895-O Morgan. Why? Because an MS-60 Peace is going to have problems and have poor eye appeal (after all, that's what keeps it to an MS-60), whereas a coin in G-4 can have nice even wear and be very eye appealing.
