Truthfully, I'm not a big fan but I have one hanging around. It is a birth year coin for me.

I like them OK. I have 5 in my permanent collection (out of 29 coins).
    • Is it a 1957...or a 1957-D???? I find 57-D's with nice color quite often....just sold a MS66 and have 2 65's on Ebay now....that's why I am curious if it's a Philly coins? I like the reverse toning, and I am thinking that the obverse toning is going to be a lot more colorful in hand and not a flat brown like you typically see on Mint Set frankies!!!

      TerrapinWill,
I feel this is best kept private between techeff and myself. I won't post anymore about this. It's a non issue now as far as I'm concerned. Lee
    • I just started a MS 64 FBL set,They are affordable older coins that make a nice set.I won't get the 53 S in FBL though for obvious reasons.image

    • Great looking baldy Lee!

But I have found that the 57-D is relatively easy to find with all 3 attributes of strike, color, and luster if you compare to other dates/mm in the series.

You really have to see this 62 in hand, it is very unusual.

Your kidding right? I can see a woman withholding water, or even sex, but making a guy relinquish his Frankies...no way! That is the saddest thing I've ever heard.
