Welcome Heritage Collectors (and potential Heritage collectors).
Lets make this the ONE and ONLY tread from here on out (Feb 22nd) with posts regarding 2005 Topps Heritage.
We need everyone to follow along to make this work...which will make reading the boards much easier for not only us but the non-heritage collectors as well.
Once again...if anyone wants a excel spreadsheet for the 2001-2005 Topps Heritage Releases (including descriptions of the 2005 SPs)...please shoot me an email at jbasilone@adelphia.net
Thanks!!

Lets start fresh from here. Let the other threads go down the list.
This really isnt that hard.
Do you have scans of a couple of the cards?
Are you going for a set of them. I would trade my extra white backs for your dups.

i understand that the the difficulty level is minimal, i just noticed the 2 separate "official 2005 topps heritage threads" on the same page, and thought it was kinda funny..
<< <i>wow , that's a big addition, i'm starting to wonder if all the base cards have a "light back" version. >>
Tell me about it....I spent some time updating my personal want lists etc...and now its blown out of the water.
JoeStalin-
Just post to this thread. We need to clean up the clutter on this boards...as it is Pi$$ing off anyone else who doesnt collect heritage.
John
Excellent idea! Keep it all, at this point, on one thread. Having said that, if someone starts another thread about Heritage - for any reason what so ever, it's their right to do so.
I'm growing very weary of the control freaks around here! Last time I checked, no one pays for the privilege of posting here and if you read a thread title and don't want to select it for viewing, that's your decision.
Thanx

Yes, I read the title. You can't miss it as it has that ebay 'gotta LQQK!' look. Just seems like you're reinventing the wheel, as Mud is already 150+ posts into 2005H.
Not knocking the effort, just how to define 'official'.
Moving on, I'm a potential enthusiest of Heritage. Any info on costs associated with 2005 complete sets and earlier would be appreciated.

I enjoy this new Topps Heritage and having one thread will make it easier to enjoy.
I did not mean to offend anyone by bumping up all the heritage threads, but it was a way to illustrate how obsurd it was getting.

I see what you mean and apologize for the strong words - I should never respond to something while at work with people yelling in my ear. LOL
This is different than somebody just arbitrarily determining what threads are OK. Again, I was wrong to sound off.

That was the point so people will just post to one thread.
There are many other collectors who read this board besides Heritage collectors. I would be annoyed too.

I just talked to Chris from blowout. Retail cases arrived with him today, so all the distributors should have theirs today as well. I would expect to see the boxes on retail shelves sometime this week.
My case should be here by Friday.
I'll check the Target next to my work tomorrow as I'm fairly certain they wont have any today. I will post my findings tomorrow.

Not to beat a dead horse - for a few weeks of the year this board "comes alive" with one product. How many times do I see a post about a "dumb ebay sale"; is this OC? Thanx PSA, etc. - I don't mind since this is a free speech zone - come on...let's be fair. I would appreciate a little support on the idea of fairness in creating the thread of ones choice. If no one responds to a thread, the author will get the message.

I pulled a Jim Brady auto and it has a light back. I pulled a Paul Minner auto from a box that i bought at my local card store and that has a light back also. I didn't get any light backs from the boxes from the card store. Does anyone know if all of the autos have the light backs?
I also got a black chrome Andruw Jones, which is one of my favorite players
If you haven't seen my post already, my daighter and I are looking for gum to send over to our tropps. There is a drive going on called Operation Shoebox - New Jersey. They are looking for all kinds of items including gum. I thought it would be great to get fellow collectors to help the cause with the gum they have from Heritage. My daughter's school is just one of many places in New Jersey that is working on this project.
If you have any gum that you would be willing to ship to my daughter it would be greatly appreciated. While I'm not looking to pay for the gum, I would be willing to pay for the half the shipping if I have to. I'll take whatever you have - a case worth or 10 cases worth.
You can e-mail me at isellcards@optonline.net to get my mailing info. I can also send you information on Operation Shoebox. If anyone out there is questioning my reasons for wanting the gum, you can see my feedback at sportscard_market on Ebay. Very honest dealer just looking to help my daughter help out the troops.
Thanks.
What is with the checklist that is TWO cards thick? They look like they are stuck togehther but don't come apart. Not that I tried very hard. Also, the checklist was the 9th card in the pack. Is it common to get more than 8?
