First ebay negative.

I left a negative for a guy who promised four (4) times to refund my money because the order did not arrive. He left me a negative saying I was a poor communicator. I should have and did know that I was going to get a negative, but it really irritates me never-the-less.

Just needed a place to vent.

Yep. It makes one mad. I remember my first (and still only) negative. Guy was a real jerk.

Dont sweat it, nobodys gonna hold 1 negative from an idiot against you.
Also you can go back and explain what happened in the reply column if you want.

Or you can reply to the neg. with a link, have someone report it, and eBay pulls the entire feedback I think you can only do that a few times before you get in trouble...

if you know the item number, you can leave feedback well over a year after the auction ends.

Post a carefully worded, factual, and CALM reply to the feedback on your account and chalk it up to experience. Better to take the hit and let people know it was unjustified than to let a dishonest seller off the hook. Some folks around here see retaliatory negatives as badges of honor.

Been there....returned a coin, never got a refund. left a neg for the seller and he of course, neg'd me back. I complained to ebay and now this seller got booted........course, this seller has received 100 negatives in the last 30 days out of 1000 transactions BUT this is also a long time seller with over 10,000 positive feedbacks and it wasn't until the last several months that they started screwing up BIG time. Luckily, I was only out $10 w shipping so it wasn't as painful as if it had been a $1000 purchase!
