Here's the 48D PCGS AG03 that Tonelover made - does this 67 look equally or more worn to yo? Enought to get a FR02 grade?

Score! That may even slide in to a P01 holder!

  • AG. It's no worse than the one I sent you.

No, that does not capture it. We need, maybe, a drool plus yuk -- a 'druck' emoticon!

Here's an 1948-D PCGS AG03....made by Tonelover. Does the 1967 clad look more worn or about the same? To me, the reverse is noticeably more worn - the central devices somwhat and especially the periphery motto. The obverse is similar, perhaps a bit more worn about the center devices. With the internal clad layer showing, perhaps this will make it appear more worn?

I don't think it will holder at all, looks to me like damage on the reverse rim. I'm usually in the minority on these things, though.

Post-strike damage. No doubt about it.

This coin too was damaged ouside the mint. The pitted surface is a giveaway.

  • The amount of wear on the reverse vs. the obverse looks too different to be natural. And, the obverse wear is uneven from one side to the other. I think they'll reject it entirely.
