ANACS AU50 which I think is optomistic, but since I paid XF money for it, I'll take AU. I had it slabbed only to protect the beautiful original surfaces and blue color that this scan does not pick up at all. The value of this coin has gone nowhere in the last 4 or 5 years

Don't have a picture of mine. It's an EF45 1827 Square Base 2 Bust half I got as a young collector, back in 1977. I've kept it all this time. I cleaned it back then in my newbieness, but it has retoned nicely over the years.

Oh- these two detector finds would be contenders for my favorite, as well- I do get sentimental about my dug babies, even when they ain't much to look at.

I was selling off my VF/XF partially completed Barber half set for lack of material to buy when I came across this coin on Ebay. It spurred me on and gave me the desire to finish my set...which I did.

It looks like someone dipped the coin in a mocha chocolate cream. I absolutely love the mocha/brown album toning some of the O mint Barber halves can be found with. I have only seen this toning on New Orleans coins. I wonder if the humidity of the deep south coupled with long term storage in one of those old raymond wayte albums is what causes this. Why only O mints?

I have a 1795 and an 1806 that are quite nice, but this Proof-67 Walker pleases me better than either of those because it is a more outstanding example of a really great modern design. This picture does not do this beautiful original coin justice.

So much for those who say that I have it in for all modern coins!
