Actually, I'm betting that PCGS would put that particular coin in AG-3 plastic, whether or not it is technically an FR-2.

If that coin is considered a FR-02...what would P-01 look like? I thought the definition of P-01 was basically the rim is completely worn into the legend and date where the legend is largely obliterated and the date barely visible. TIA for any clarification on this.

    That's a strong FR02, I would say.

What would PO01 look like? More like the reverse of my 1841 "Stealth Eagle" Seated dollar (the obverse of which is probably FR02).

(There IS some detail on the reverse- a few stripes from the shield.)

Nice coin, clearly a FR-02. What variety is it? WB-101? WB-102? WB-103? If it is a WB-102, it is still worth some money.

Can we get a super blow up of the date? Also, a big picture of her nose? It is clearly not a WB-104.

Fair-2 tops. BTW, very nice half! Keep it away from Braddick.

Are you sure it wouldn't get bagged due to the green funk on the reverse?
  • there is no green funk on the back. it is like dark ink or tire marks, like someone ran over it. lol. - Cary -
