Some soap, water, and a Brillo pad should be able to stop the corrosion!

Xylene and a really soft artist's brush (small - like camel's hair) and work it in real tight little circles when the coin is thoroughly wet with the xylene. Then rinse and dry. Probably have to do it several times.

I've had some luck with that method unless the green crud is really thick and eaten into the surface.

She was a actress on an extremely popular sitcom in the early 1970's called "All in the Family". She played the daughter of the lead character. She was very good looking back then and she played a liberal. It was a great show.
