Okay...I know this thread is waaaay off topic, but here it goes...

I no longer have any ferrets, my last one had to be put down over a week ago. I've had ferrets for the last 14+ years. They are absolutely wonderful pets. They are very bright, happy, fun-to-be-with animals. Ferrets bond well with their human companions, but they can get into a ton of mischief. I can't say enough about these litle guys, I love 'em. My wife is essentially anti-pet and wants no more ferrets in the house. This didn't exactly help my grieving process as of recent. So, I can only enjoy pictures now.

Ferrett's are probably one of the coolest critters you can have, I've had 3 and they are not only amusing to their owners but they tend to amuse even their own self. Far better mouser's than a run of the mill cat. I have been seriousley considering another. The first one i had would make sound's that i mistook for a burgular went to get out of bed and it nipped the back of my ankle and kind of humped up and started hopping around and showing off, picked him up and put him on the bed, where he soon learned that he had found his spot. They sleep most all day, and play all night. Only drawback was training it to the litter box. Ferrett's Rule

My first ferret, Trixie, was purchased in California. It's a stupid, stupid law made up by ignorant legislators from awhile back (they believed that if the ferrets became feral they could wreak havok on ground nests, etc.). Other than Hawaii, they're legal everywhere else. You just have to be careful you don't show your ferret to the wrong person in California or you run the likelihood of losing it.
