thats a smart idea if your planning to get divorced.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

If you really want to hide things have two coin accounts.
Only let her know about one and let her see your small purchases.

    What took you so long?

Better question: How have you been able to put together such a fabulous collection without one?

You folks are down right underhanded and sneaky.

I finally found a place that I truly belong.

I won't tell your wife if you don't tell mine.

    CCU,

I just thought of something. Won't she get a little suspicious when you're suddenly no longer begging for coin money? image

I can't keep too much cash in the bank. Too many people are after it. I always wonder what the tellers think when they see me showing up a few times every other week to withdraw large sums of cash.

    a) PO Box: Check.

    b) Safety Deposit Box: Check (actually upgraded to the larger size this AM).

My wife and I each have our own checking accounts.
I have a 'hobby" credit card that comes to the office, as does coin mail, ANA magazine, ebay and Teletrade purchases.
She doesn't know about the paypal account.
If she wants something on ebay, she uses my daughter's account (can't let her see my 300 feedbacks!image)
Deposit box 461 is known to me only. (A friend at work is allowed to tell my wife at the viewing image)

So you see, we get along just fine, and we never fight about how much I spend on coins!image

I guess I must be lucky. I don't have a secret account! I don't need one because my wife supports what I do and she has even paid for a few coins when I was short on cash. Eventhough she doesn't collect coins, she will even go to a show with me here and there.

If I had to hide it I wouldn't feel right. She is listed on the PO Box and the Safety Deposit Box.

The "secret stash" is very important for married men. Whenever a guy is getting married a few of us at work sit him down and lecture him on the importance of starting it as soon as possible. Even though I control the finances and don't really need one it's a still a good idea. Plus, I bet most of the wives have one of their own.
