EBAY PRICING CHANGES - Feb 18th 2005

Gee...what a surprise. Now that they have the world by the b@lls....they can do whatever they want.

Coin auction houses may start to see an increase in business if eBay keeps this up. I know I will try like hell to sell off my coins to board members on the BST before I turn to eBay now.

I wanted to post the new fees here...but they make me sick. What a let down by eBay. If you are a member of eBay....you have probably already received the email with the changes that are effective Feb. 18th.

The only fee changes for normal auctions are the Gallery and BIN's. The rest is for ebay stores.

Yea, I just closed mine. As if they really care. Took their stupid survey for the reason it was closed. As if they do not know.

From personal experience, I've taken a somewhat of a beating already with getting fee'd to death on eBay. I was already hesitant to list with them; now, even more so. I hope this backfires on them. I agree with a prior respondent in this thread that perhaps this just means my S&H fees should go up a bit to make up the difference.
