Remember the other day that I asked you guys on your opinion about that 2 cent piece? I took your advice, and here's the response I received:

Absolutely no problem! I have others waiting for this piece. In my opinion the toning is quite original but sometimes people see things differently. Thanks for the email. I will be at the FUN show for the next week but will send the refund once I return.

There's one dealer here in Denver that has spent quite a bit of time with me (which is awesome and definitely more than most dealers would do) on how to properly read wear on certain coins (like a 75CC 20-cent piece) or tell that a proof 2-cent piece has been artificially toned. I've bought from him a couple of times and my respect for him has only grown.

Yep, he has to keep those negs down somehow. Judging by the amount of questionable raw coins he sells, (with interesting stories explaining their rawness), I'd guess he is regularly using that pleasant response.
