I Believe that i am correct, While others are still in doubt. I have no way to have this authenticated by PCGS or any of the grading services. However if someone, Preferably Russ, is willing to send it in and see what they Grade,
Certifiy, and Authenticate, Then i will do the following:
1.) I will send the coin to you, or directly to your Service to be checked out.
2.) If i am correct then we will have the coin placed for auction.
3.) I will split the proceeds from the auction 50/50.
4.) This means we both profit, and we both share all the fee's.
5.) If i am wrong, I'll not only come up with what i will owe for the grading service and repay you.
But, I will permanetly leave the forum. And i get the Lincoln back, Bagged or Tagged.
With all that said, Anyone who is interested (Russ, I Hope) PM me and let's figure it out.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
But - I'll be gald to submit the coin and pay the costs, on the condition that if it comes back either unattributed as a 44/43 restrike or is BB'd, you have to remain a member of the forum and at least post once a day for 10 years from the day your submission result is posted by PCGS.
The rest of your challenge is OK with me

Or it may be that before he edited it, the thread title read "How about an answer, even some sarcasm from Russ." Thus the reason for my post in the thread.

Of course. It's just the hundreds of rpm's and doubled dies, except for a handful with FS numbers, that they don't. This they been waitin' for.

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
BTW, don't leave the forums over something like this - too much fun here to get offended over something like this......
