PCGS 1802 Bust dollar Guess the grade....Grade revealed

This is one of my favorite coins, I bought it in 1999 before the prices went skyward.

Who wants to test their grading skills?

I like it a lot and would think it is resting comfortably in a VF20 holder.

Beautiful coin with very nice surfaces.

I think no lower than F15 nor higher than VF20.. I think it's a picture-perfect Fine-18 myself.

I'm definitely with Baley. It would be F18, if such a grade existed. I couldn't quite decide between F15 and VF20, so I went with F15 in my earlier guess, just to be conservative.

Looks F15'ish to me. Extremely nice collectible coin. By way of comparison, I've attached a file of my ANACS XF40, which has nice detail...I just wish it were a little less dark.

ah, 25. As I said, I really like the surfaces and "look" of the coin, but was thrown off of 25 because here's my pcgs VF25 (different year, maybe that makes the difference)

I think Fivecents coin is weak struck with light wear.

Baley's coin is well struck with more wear then Fivecents coin.

Baley,you got cheated by a few points on your coin.

I like both coins.(imo)

Bad - Yours is only a VF20... and NGC
Good - Perhaps a resubmission to a different grading Company is in order? A serious value increase may be realized!

I'm not so sure about that.

The consensus on the grade was less than vf-20. Perhaps Baleys coin is properly graded and fivecents' is overgraded.

Not meant to disparage fivecents' coin, she is definately a beauty, just commenting on an observation.

It is a nice coin. I like the origional old silver grey color. Looks like no one dipped it. I have been looking at these old dollars after I bought 2 last year. I wish I had the money to buy them a few years ago like you did. The grade opinions have been great too. It is a strong fine or a low VF like a F18. Looks like you agree with that grade too fivecents.
