I like the toning, the coin looks nice except for the spots that lack toning......that must of been where he picked up the coin

It could have been some sort of residue on the coins surface in those spots, or It could have actually wipped off or flaked off when removing it from the envelope.........don't know for sure?

anytime i see those spots I RUN away.

I'm no expert but that screams ugly to me to see spots like that

I just figured out why PCGS body-bagged the Morgan Dollars that my father got uncirculated from U.S. Mint bags in 1950, and stored in a U.S. Government brown manilla envelopes, untouched for 20 years, in humid, pre- air conditioning Washington D.C. !! True NT can only occur in canvas bags I guess.
