He actually has been improving so I keep a database of images from past purchases to compare to. This one will be a strong coin, but likely not as contrasted as indicated in the image.
I BINed a '65 from the guy a week or two ago... didn't turn out well... Too much frost in the fields, too many hairlines... But, I'm gonna send it to Don to clean-up, and get his opinion on it, just to be sure...
Good luck with that one, Russ. I have bought a couple from this seller and they did not match up with the pix in terms of contrast/frost, but then, you've cherried this guy before and ain't exactly ponying up the mortgage money. A qualified you suck!
I saw that and passed but you got it for a good price! it look like it had very little small milk spots all over it. that the pic.at the top of the page, i could not see them on the pic. at the lower part of the page. littlejohn
Well, George, you can feel better now. Came in today and worth about the $10 it cost. Hairlines. Nice contrast, though, so maybe I'll use it as a setup coin on a submission.

Might be, and knowing that I still stepped up to the plate and had the balls to take this enormous risk.

George,
I've had several like that from this seller. But, I've also had some winners - like a 1965 for $17.50 that graded MS67CAM and sold for $390.

Sadly, it didn't pay off.

No. Maybe I should have since I've never bought from him before.
