Superior sold tonite this 1945 Mercury dime as PCGS 66FB for $1700 (before the juice) . I was told before the sale "dog, rubbish and sud be ACG" but I am surprised PCGS would even allow (for that matter even Superior) to sell such a popular dime obviously NOT full bands at all. I mean (can someone linky) the center bands looks like my turkey sandwich . What does "virtually full bands" mean in this description??
Obviously most agreed as it sold for a paltry amount (a true FB sells for well over 10K if available corectly graded. But even the price it realized is nuts for no band

$5850 would surprise me even more.

Virtually is close but no cigar. Such a scam. That does NOT mean full band. If the holder does not say FB, then it is NOT.
I still find it funny people buy coins from Ebay. Most dealers I have sincere talks with say they sell their 'junk" there that nobody wants, or cheap stuff not worth carrying around. So be it, I guess. Sucker born every minute, matured ones continue every 30 seconds....

i am a powerseller on ebay ,and i do not sell any junk.
