The 1968-D is a lock MS66. Not only does it make the grade on a technical basis, it has "the look" that makes PCGS graders get all hot.

The 1969-D is a technical MS66, but may grade only MS65 because it doesn't have "the look." Still a very nice example of a tougher year.

The 1970 proof is a PR68DCAM that looks better than that. It has a hairline above the motto that isn't showing up in the image.

I comes very close from a contrast standpoint, but looks slightly worse than in-hand because an image can't give you that cool twirling under the light brilliance reflecting off the mirrors.

Nice coins, is it the far cheek luster breaks that keep the 68-D form 7? The 69-D is very nice, seems a little weak on the reverse but nicer than any I have.

The '68 and '69 look fabulous. You can keep the proof...proofs aren't real coins (although '70 was a very good year )

Nice clean, satiny fields on that '68! I recently picked up a BU roll of '64 Kennedy's and although I haven't studied them all I'm pretty certain nothing that nice is lurking inside. The coin on the top had a couple nice fingerprints on it. Well cherrypicked!

That, and if you look carefully at the reverse, you'll see a little ding at the top of the tail feathers below the shield.

BTW, for those not familiar with these, both pieces have amazingly clean shields for these years.
