obviously many people do, as there is a constant flow of rumors and unfounded attacks from the press and people on this board SAYING that he is on Steriods. It is to them I have repeatedly asked for Evidence beyond rumor and conjecture.
There is no more real evidence that Bonds is on Steriods, than there is that Piazza is Gay...
both are rumors that have come from pople with an agenda to hurt a players career that they did not like for whatever reason (and do not kid yourself in thinking that Racisim and plain old jealousy are not at least SOME of the reasons...)
If YOU just do not like him because he is not "as nice to fans as you think he should" then I am sure that there are TONS of players you hate.

Hasn't Gary Shefield, a guy who's spent alot of time with Bonds OFF the field, stated that not only has Bonds used steroids but was responsible for giving some to Shef ?
I'll admit im not as knowledgable on this topic as some here but i do remember hearing something recently about this

nope. nice try though.
he did say that he May have used the cream that contained Steriods by accident because of a mix up with his trainer, but only a time or two at most.
he has never once implicated Bonds or another player.
Sheffield is pointing the finger to take heat off of himself. Im sure Steinbrenner told him what to do on that one. Sheffield waving the finger like he does with his bat and looking ridiculus.
If you had to bet your life savings on whether or not Bonds was on steroids would anybody actually bet that he was not?
Bonds is a great hitter, the best of his era, and frankly I could care less if he is on steroids. Of course, I still believe that Ben Johnson is the World's fastest man and that if he were an American Sprinter his current World Record of 9.60 would be safe for a long, long, time.
However, Bonds records, like the women's track and field record holders from the 1980's will always be tarnished by the belief they were greatly aided by steroid use.
Other than what I have written I agree with DirtyHarry, Aconte and 1420sports.
Every body talks about his growth. I am not compairing myself to a Pro athlete by any stretch here but When I was 21 I weighed 155, I am 34 and weigh 185 and am in the best shape of my life and probably better now at Sports than I ever was, at 20 I could max out on a bench press at maybe 250, now I can get 300 easy for 1. MY point here is that I train about 5 solid hrs a week and add a protein bar or shake in there, and I have made decent gains over the years. I have never done any supplement outside a protein shake or bar. Barry has the best trainers and all the time to dedicate himself to bettering his body and spends more hrs a week in training than most of the out of shape crap talkers on these boards do in a lifetime. So get over this garbage about his records will be tarnished and all that. Anybody knows that you need to have MORE than bulging muscles to hit, in fact Bulging muscles slow down your bat speed in most cases. nobody bashed BIG MAC in his 70 hr season and I would say he put on more weight than anybody during his years in the majors.
Barry is known for his incredible training. If you worked out all the time and had the money to by all of the legal supplements I would imagine you could on that kind of mass even at that age. I often argued this, but the BALCO has changed my mind and think he's roided. Then again I've seen the BowFlex commericials with the ripped middle aged men and that is from only 20 minutes a day!
I'm not really enjoying the middle aged men, I just want to know if the latest commercial with the lady who claims that she is a grandma is for real. She is supposed to be 50+ but is walking around in a bikini and is HOT! She only looks about 30.
What a Stand up guy. Sheffield talks $hit about a guy and sticks buy his story. Anyways Lets hear Barry's side of the story, Maybe Sheffield was trying to pick up on Bonds Wife or little kids for that matter.

so if you get better
then you must be cheating.
still does not sound like "proof"
or "evidence"
just sounds like you wish YOUR favorite
player were as good as he is.
you got me there. You win. I cannot compete with such compelling arguments and insight.
