Anyone get the Superior catalog?

Super nice full color catalog with some great pictures of toned coins. The 1936 Albany is superb. mike

I just wish I had the extra cash to bid on a few but I think I can scrape together enough for a saint that caught my eyeimage. I can't seem to find a link on their website to access the online catalog? mike

Another nice catalog. In general, the "full color" catalogs are incredibly different and far better than those with a couple of color pix pages, and all coins in B&W.

not my intention to be quoted again- just trying to let everyone that does get these catalogs to know how nice they are- I'll probably spend more time time looking at this catalog than any coin I buy. mike image
    • Yeah, I was just kidding. image

I does seem strange that they cannot find quotes from other sources, though.

I know you were just kiddingimage. If they keep sending me these catalogs they can quote me anytimeimage. mike
      • Unfortunately, from what I've noticed is that many of the pics do not match the coin when you are actually viewing them in person. At least this has been true for the last couple of Superior's catalogs. It seemed as though the pics where enhanced just a tad too much. Perhaps this one might be different though.

Guess I won't be quoted but I think an auction company as large as Superior should provide more accurate pics.

I just got it today. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet (other than just flipping through it quickly when I got home)

Got mine yesterday. Color pictures are good. The format is terrible...everything is out of order. You really have to look at the index first to find what you're interested in. Yes, there are alot of very nice coins in this sale if you hunt for them. Its a disappointing effort.

The format is the same as always. They put the catalog in order based on the auction order.

Huh? I think we all understand that the catalog is in the order in which the coins wll be sold, its just that no one can figure out why Half Dollars come before Lincoln Cents.

I guess its because 'H' comes before 'L'?

Received it today and it is very nice. Some great looking commems. How do their images compare to the coins in hand. Some of them look almost too nice to believe. Any enhancement going on here? Opinions? Enquiring minds want to know.

Gotta admit I love the 23-S SLQ they are offering in NGC 66FH ... but I'll only be slammed when I ever cross it over to PCGS...Once burnt, twice shy.

      • The 1885 NGC PR68 Morgan dollar is about the nicest proof Morgan I've ever seen.

I like their catalog. It's very sweet.

I'm surprized that I get it. I've never won a coin that I've bid on from Superior.
