Has your girlfriend/wife/mistress ever bought you any Pre-1840 PCGS graded coins?
My wife has bought me many, many 19th century coins, including a 1837 PCGS MS-62 half dollar and a 1852-D half eagle (PCGS VF-35)

My wife has bought me a few mint sets as I was finishing the run and also a few gift certificates. I would hope she would only go to a dealer that knows exactly what I like.

So show her the PRL from a couple of long time collectors auctions like say. Pitman (Good choice because everyone likes to point his out to show what an "average Joe" collector can accomplish.).
