Seller makes an interesting claim and I was wondering if any of you have had cause to disagree.
<<A few words about my starting prices: Other sellers may find success beginning coins at nominal amounts. This practice does save on fees. My preference is to assume that my coins will appeal to well-informed numismatists that have no time to waste bidding $2 on a coin that is obviously worth $200. I try to start my coins at low levels that would prompt a penniless dealer to borrow money to bid on the coin. I do not employ shills nor do I use multiple identities to “protect” my coins. I have been a professional numismatist for 35 years and enjoy a reputation that far exceeds any modern electronic rating. If you are willing to pay the starting price and encounter no competition then you have purchased a genuine bargain. >>
