    You made a top pop not a Pop 1 but congrats anyway.

    No I just looked @ NGC's Pop report -- it's a Pop 1. I don't have a PCGS Pop Report that's recent, but as of July 2003 only 5 had been graded MS67 with none higher.

    Sorry I should have made it clear -- NGC has only graded 20 -- 1988-D Washington Quarters in all grades.

    Unfortunately, I just don't agree with a MS67 on this coin, but I know nothing about grading Washington Quarters though.

    I don't know if its my eyes, but something about that toning looks slightly off. Perhaps its just that I have never seen toning like that on a clad coin.

    No it's real. I plucked this coin from an aftermarket 1988 year set that was in a dealer's $20 and under bin. All the other coins were junk, and you really couldn't see this coin because the case so scratched up. The coin toned from the cardboard insert inside the plastic.

    Congrads! I had a dream that I had hit a POP 1, the next day it came true...only problem, in the dream it was a MS67DMPL not a MS63PL
