Lewis & Clark Set w/pouch

So is anybody going to get some of these sets?
The Mint is going to start selling them tomorrow.
Just curious...

Looking for 1967 PCGS/NGC slabbed coins.
  • Well considering that the pouch isn't that much larger than a silver dollar you'll have to tell us if you can.
  • I would like to get a couple, but I think they are price gouged beyond belief, and will not go there.

  • None for me. image

$120 for ONE COIN? The one coin is already overpriced if bought individually for $39.00! That must be some leather pouch it is packaged in to make it worth an extra $80. Oh wait....I get it! The pouch costs so much because it is the only thing that can be used to cover up that ugly coin!

I wonder if in a few years, these coins will have developed some attractive toning or horrible corrosion from the leather pouches?

Nope, not even with your money. Leather doesn't age well, you should see the leather case to my 40 year old Zeiss Ikon 35mm camera. The camera itself is as good as new.

nope. Nothing special in there for the money. I'm just hoping that they will someday come up with another coin with a matte finish.

Seems to me that sh*tty little ditty bag set is way overpriced. But then again if you're into candy lollipops..... that bag COULD hold a bunch o SUCKERS. And, don't forget it comes with a signed COA doesn't it ? Think GENIUNE American Indian Autograph. The right sig might very well be worth big bucks one day.
  • Buy one of these????????? Don't be silly!! I'm saving my hard earned money to purchase the Edison Commemorative that lights up when the box is opened! Now thats coin collecting! image
