PCI AU55
Okay, before anyone says it -- the pictures S*CK, I know. But its hard getting a good pic of such a small coin that is toned in this manner. Sorry.
BTW the scratch on the reverse is on the slab.
First one to guess the grade and the slab that its in wins a AU Columbus Commem.
Thanks
Michael

BINGO! Nice Guess! I can't believe someone got it.
I was thinking that it could be a proof. The rims are rather squared off. I picked it up off a bid board in the SFV for $95.00 and thought I might try to crack it and see what happens. I certainly think PCI undergraded it if it is a business strike. I can't really see any wear and the color might be a tad dark, but the surfaces are mirror like. I'll probably get ANACS free opinion on it in Long Beach and see what they say.

That'll have to be a pocket piece for a LONG time to get it down to PO-01.
