Hello gang!

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Ash Harrison and I'm the guy who does most of the updating to the VAM list. If it is a new discovery, <FONT size=2>
I should have it up to the end of 2003. I have pictures for the even newer coins.

I'm a newbie to the group, but I've been dealing in Morgans since 1987, and collecting since the late 60's.

Can someone tell me if I can upload an icon to the list?

I hope to become a help to the group..

    Welcome! And time for the hazing. image Just kidding, but I think 2004 is what you meant. I'm not as much into Morgans as I used to be, but I have always admired the work gone into the VAM related areas.

    Ash is local to me, and has a great eye. He's a straight shooter, knowledgable guy, and friend. I've known his family for 20+ years. I'm glad to see him posting here. Some of the members got to meet him at the Friday ANA board member dinner.

    There's an "icon upload day" on the 15th of each month. You have to wait until Sept 15 to upload your icon. On that day, your own profile page will have an extra button that you can use to upload your own unique icon, then you can change your icon to it.

    Thanks to you all for the welcome and the info on how to upload my icon. I just want to clarify that the www.ashmore.com site has the VAM update, the list of people who submitted them and the archives of the VAM-E, the SSDC electronic newsletter. I did mean 2003, that is currently the most up to date list of VAMS I have, but I do have the images up to August 2004. I am linking the images and descriptions to the titles as we chat.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
