I do not want to embarass him by going public, posting what's happening for everybody and his brother to know. I'd do the same for any and all of you. 1) Try to help. 2) Try to find a forum member close to you to see about you and 3) Do so in such a manner that if and when you returned you would be embarassed or humiliated by what could happen to any and every one of us.
Like I said, if you're anywhere around him, know him or care about him in the least, PM ME! It serves no purpose to tell everyone all over the world that are unable to help him. I need someone that knows him and is in the New Jersey area.

If you believe a person is a danger to themselves or others, you notify the proper authorities.
To post it on the Collectors Universe US Coin Forum, is, well, just plain asinine.

Now, about Tom....how can I say this without emabarassing him? He is in a very fragile state of mind right now. He has undergone many surgeries lately and is living in excruciating pain. After years of being sober, he started taking his precribed pain medication but fell into a trap. Having been clean and sober for so long,he relapsed. Basically, the wife has thrown him out. He's all alone - on the street. He's in agonizing pain in more ways than one. He is heartbroken with nowhere to go...nowhere to call home...nowhere to lay his head! I lost a first cousin under very similar circumstances.
When he contacted me today for the first time in almost 2 months it was because the wife asked him to help her balance the checkbook, then back out on the strreet again. This is why I asked if anyone is in close proximity to him. He needs a friend, he needs someone to help him instead of throwing him out his own home like yesterday's trash. He needs someone to throw their arms around him and help him through this before he does what my cousin did.
What else can I say? Somebody needs to find him!
His wife should be the one to step up to the plate.

Tom Sullivan...this is not cool at all. A huge hole is in my heart right now. If I knew where you are I'd make sure you had a place to lay your head, to wash yourself and food in your belly. Yes, I've seen this too many times before. I lost my cousin. I was the first born on my mom's side of the family, he was the second. To Mrs, Sullivan, you don't know me but I think you should have a chat with my wife. At the risk of pissing you off I will ask you straight up, DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT SAY TILL DEATH DO WE PART.....SO HELP ME GOD!? Your husband is in pain and needs you. Anyone can run and just quit! I can't take it anymore. I,I,I,I,I, me, me, me BULL. I know it hasn't been easy. Who ever said it would be? YOU are the Guardian of Tom's soul as his wife and vice-versa. I'm not sticking my nose in your business, I'm just telling you like it is!! This is Bull$#!+.
We'll get a roof over your head and get you squared away ... off the street. I know you're around, lurking, because you were in the Open Forum earlier this morning. You have to want to help yourself, man. Many of us here care about you. It's not the same without you! Hang in there buddy- you're not alone!

Those that look upon this as a chance to say it's his fault, he shouldn't have relapsed or what ever else along the lines of It's his own fault...........all I can say is that you're probably all right, but have some compassion for another human being. We are not perfect, and we all have numerous faults....I just hope that someone is able to intervine and get him some help
