Nice looking coin. Great strike and a wonderful full head. I grade it MS 64FH.
Whatever you paid for the coin back in 1985, it was well worth it. My set includes a 23-S almost identical to yours, but its a touch whiter. Your's has lovely toning and its a real stunner.

I don't know much about SLQs by date, but it must be a heck of a 23-S. I've never seen Karl that excited!
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
