Back from ANA

Hey all!! Just got back home from Portland. Had a good time and actually got to meet a number of forumites...Boiler78, Clankeye, and a couple guys from the lightside. To you all, it was nice meeting you!! image

I was able to, and this will make Cosmic poop cookies, pick up three Goetz Patterns..a 1925 Drei (3) and 5 Mark Germania Pattern Reichsmarks and a 1925 Silver 50 Pfennig which is in a PCGS PR66 holder...uh yeah, very rare, but especially rare in this grade.

I'll try to get images up in the next day or so.

Nice to be home. S

Right on, on the patterns, Cacheman.

It was a pleasure meeting you down there. Where did you end up finding the Goetz patterns?

I actually pulled a side deal outside the show with the same guy I had previously bought the other Pfennig pieces from. He has been a supply of high quality stuff since I began collecting. I was also able to turn around, as trade, seven Weltkrieg proofs as partial payment.

    How do you poop cookies?

    Very carefully....heh heh image

cacheman- It was nice to finally meet you at the Portland show. Sounds like you had better luck than I did!image All I managed to buy was an uncut sheet of obsolete currency which I didn't even know I collected! Thanks for showing me your city view thalers, amazingly intricate designs that have to be seen in person to fully appreciate. Can't wait to see the Goetz images!image
