  • I believe that you can call ANACS and pay them $5 per coin and upgrade to 5 days service and they most always meet it. One of my club member did it not too long ago.

    Hi honeywah:

I talked to ANACS last week. They said they are running at 10-11 weeks economy, so you should get yours any day based on that report.

I received an economy shipment from ANACS last week. They were shipped two days short of 12 weeks.

I'll give you a piece of advice.

Never, never send coins via ecomomy grading to ANACS. I submitted a coin to ANACS through a dealer who for some reason sent the piece in on the economy plan. It took forever for the coin to come back. When I was sending coins the ANACS the difference in price between economy and normal was something like $5. It's hardly worth it.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

BillJones' advice is right on. ANACS is sufficiently inexpensive that you should use the 5-day plan, always.
