I'm pretty drained by it all. Not only the posts here, but about forty PMs between three other people and one phone call. But, it had a happy conclusion.
It wouldn't have got to a hundred posts if I had been a little more, how would you say, reserved about things. But after what I saw by email I was pretty steamed and decided to shake some trees and see what might fall out. Fortunately, what fell out was a pretty quick resolution to all this.
Good work Eric. You should get a job at your local TV station or newspaper as a consumer advocate, chasing down all those contractors, etc. that rip people off!
Strange thing, I purchased 3 modern proof sets with gold 1/2 Eagles from this seller and never had a problem. The sets were as advertised with fast delivery. This was over 2 years ago so maybe things have changed.
I hate to say this but my son bought from a seller with the EBAY name that sounded like SLQ and his coin took 1 month to arrive and were not even close to the description.
"Sounded like SLQ"? Hmm...I give up. Who was it?

Or at the ANA...
Time sure flies when you don't know what you are doing...
I do pretty well right where I am - I do a lot in the background that isn't public. I'm very satisfied with what I have been able to accomplish in the last four years after I had finally had enough of certain rackets in the coin business.

That's the truth but it sure would make for some interesting board meetings.
