<< <i>I was just told a certain regular poster here who is a seller decided to email a less than honest seller about a problem that was posted here. >>
Eric,
You and I both know who does that quite regularly around here. Slime of a feather oozes together.
<< <i>In the words of Benjamin Franklin, mind your business. >>
That quote's way out of context... he literally meant take care of your business to allow the nation's economy to prosper--not stay out of other people's dealings
Maybe they are bored and have nothing better to do with their time. Are you one of the involved parties? If so, that would probably make you the "less than honest seller". If not, it seems you also are guilty of sticking your nose in other people's business.
Don't pick on Jeremy. He is entitled to his opinions no matter how old he is.
Hmmm. I believe he is interpreting a well-known quote from a famous personage, rather than giving you a history lesson.
What is with this agist "thing" you have going on? Are you trying to say that his opinion is somehow less valuable than yours because he is younger than you?
I don't know Jeremy. I believe I read that he is a high school student. I will assume that he has recently attended or is currently enrolled in an American history class. When was the last time you attended one?
I'm sure I am going to be blasted for this e-mail, but I am saying what I feel needs to be said. If you don't want to hear people's opinion, don't post a thread, send a PM.
Eric, if your intention is to "point it out", why not do so in a manner which lets people know specifically, what you are talking about. Otherwise, what is the point? Perhaps you have reached the ear (or eyes) of the offending party, but, I doubt he's the one you are trying to inform/help.
This thread isn't about Jeremy anyhow, so I am not going to get into a contest over it. ....Nice to know! But, how do we know who or what you are talking about in your cryptic way???
Actually, not being involved in any way, I think I figured out what this is in reference to. My guess (and it is truly a guess -- I have not talked to anyone about it) is that it's about that thread a week or so ago where aswimmer was accused of keeping the guy's money and all that stuff about bankruptcy and all.
K6AZ- if you can provide some names with specific context, it can help some of us decide who is worth listening to, and who isn't. Obviously, if someone is committing mail fraud, and others are condoning it, then it would behoove us who spend money to know the details. Plus it makes for a better drama.
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
There are lots of ways for people to involve themselves in other peoples business. Like you are now doing K6AZ. You were not the one who bought from this seller and then returned the coins are you? I must be missing something here. You should mind your own business and stay out of this unless you have personally lost money from this seller. JMHO.
In an insane society, a sane person will appear to be insane.
I'm curious. Why didn't he come here to outline his side of the story?
I'm not sure. My guess is he's too smart to play this game with someone that is having too much fun to settle for a refund. Which, BTW, I offered on behalf of the seller. The offer was refused.

Actually, I was always taught that if you had something to say, then say it. No need for guessing games or such nonsence. ....Ken

I'm not sweating it. You can take my opinion, or leave it. There it is.

First, because all of my dealings with him have been 110% fine.
Second, because 11463 out of 11560 eBay fans can't be wrong.
And third, he offered a full refund in exchange for an apology.
BTW, if I were in his shoes, I'd have already instructed my attorney to file a libel suit.

Ah the answer to everything, run get a lawyer
No. Some people break legs instead. But if you're really pissed, attorneys are better and will inflict more pain.
