Top 5 before they were sold off!

    1895 Proof Morgan (PCGS PR62)
    1889-CC Morgan (PCGS MS63DMPL)
    1893-S Morgan (PCGS XF-45)
    1909-S over horz S Lincoln MS66RD
    1955/55 Lincoln (PCGS MS65RD)

Those are the 5 coins it killed me to sell, but when you get laid off of work a paid off house is a lot nicer than coins!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    1) 1942/41 PCGS VF20 Mercury Dime (gift from my wife)
    2) 1937-D PCGS VF35 3-Legged Buffalo (gift from my wife)
    3) 1921-D PCGS G04 Walking Liberty (I see a pattern developing--gift from my wife)
    4) 1986 RAW $10 Gold (1/4 oz.) (gift from my wife)
    5) 1986 RAW $1 Silver Eagle (gift from my wife)

I would say these are the most important coins in my set. They will not be sold unless Linda sells them after I die, but she will most likey pass them along to our kids. I would sell just about everything in my collection if I needed to, but the five coins listed above along with others she has given to me will not be sold for any reason, therefore, they are the most important.

    1. 1803 $5 NGC-55
    2. 1861-O $20 PCGS-45
    3. 1846-D $5 NGC-55
    4. 1890-CC $20 NGC-62
    5. 1839-O $2.50 PCGS-58

These are not necessarily the most valuable, but I think they are the most interesting and/or rare and/or incredibly original. All coins except the 61-O were obtained from Doug Winter. I hope that after FUN next week, I have at least one new coin that makes a push for the Top 5.

    1. 1943P NGC MS67 Merc Dime with lovely color. A gift from board member "Grip"
    2. 1950P PCGS MS67 Roosevelt with some very nice Rim Color. Another gift from "onlyroosies" also a board member.

Those two coins hold a very special place in the collection and will not go anywhere. Following is the "Top5"in the collection.

    1. 1919S PCGS MS66 Merc Dime and close to Full Bands.
    2. 1923S PCGS MS64FB Merc Dime that took forever to locate.
    3. 1925S PCGS MS64FB Merc Dime that was sort of Self Made.
    4. 1926S PCGS MS64FB Merc Dime a Rare and very tough date in the series. Again it took forever to find.
    5. 1927S PCGS MS64FB Merc Dime. Just maybe the Toughest date in the series.
    6. 1928S PCGS MS65FB Merc Dime. This coin was watched for two years on a Web Site and finally the money was available.

Looks like the S mints won here.

    Probably my best 5 are:

    1) 1901-s Barber .25 F-12 unimprovable fine. Hands down my favorite!
    2) 1893-s Morgan $ Au-50 (White w/ lots of original luster and the look of a 53)
    3) 1912-s Liberty .05 Ms-64 (Original Nickel color/Awsome 64, looks compare to a majority of 65's in quality)
    4) 1916-d Mercury .10 Au-55 (Nice original white coin with FB, should be a 58FB)
    5) 1916 Standing .25 Xf-45 (Nice original coin)

    All PCGS graded

Have some other better keys, but these by far are my favorite that would be tough to re-place if sold, if not impossible like the 01-s. Some of the others are expensive, but obtainable at any major sale or show.
