I'm pretty sure that's been linked before. It's just a CW holder, so I don't think Conder will/does think much of it.

  • Those showed up back around May. I do have them listed for the second edition of the book. They are NOT Coin World shells. They are the same size as the PCGS shells but are no shaped the same. They are also made of a softer translucent plastic, more like that of SEGS but even a little softer.
  • They aren't coinworld at all and look similiar to ANACS, but like conder101 said they are the size of ANACS and soft plastic. You can actually almost bend the slab. I have never seen one of these slabs at a show yet, but they are on ebay.

    70. S&G (S & G Rare coins) Late 2002 - Date (This was the first of what will become quite a problem for listing the services. It was the first company to begin using ACG's encapsulation service. Under that service the company does the grading and ACG provides the encapsulation with custom labels. By removing the considerable investment required to purchase the dies and sonic welder it allows anyone to form their own service very cheaply. At last report there are at least 14 companies that are using this service or have used it. So far I have only seen two others Rich Stiles, and CCC (Coins, Cards, and Currency). S&G was the first but CCC is the most prolific having produced at least a couple thousand slabs so far.

    76. TMM (The Merick Mint) Late 2002 - Date. So far the only thing I have seen in production slabs from this company have been 1 oz US gold eagles. They also produce a novelty slab with a colorized quarter.

    77. Tulving (Hannes Tulving) ? - Date?

    78. USGA (U S Grading & Authentication) Early 90's?

  • We are all wrong sometimes, especially with slabs. So much is unknown.

Conder101 has written a whole book on the subject and has way more than just the list of the slab companies. That list is helpful online though.
