Nice example of a great design, with lovely toning framing the devices. I like it.

The 320$ one (384$ with juice). I paid way too much but I thought the color was nice and I had to buy something after watching all those nice coins come up on my screen and vanish without a trace!image

    Claus,

Did you want an honest opinion, or are only kudos allowed?

Just kidding! I like it, and I'll bet it looks better in real life.

Perhaps you were a little generous dollarwise, but I like the toning on it.

Those are my favorite of silver commemoratives.

  • I think I won the one pictured below. It went for the amount I entered as my max bid on Heritage's website previous to the auction starting. My bids page on the Heritage site lists me as the winner, but on eBay it lists the winner as a floor bidder so I'm not sure.

i like it. imo such toning often indicates the coin was dipped, but subsequently sat in a album for awhile acquiring the excellent toning.

    great job!

  • Now if someone can find me a Roanoke like that I'll be on Cloud 9! I impulsively bidded some weird canary tab toning one over at Heritage, oh well! It's just money.

Don't worry about it costing a few bucks more. If you going to keep it for a long while, you'll be glad you did it! Besides, if you want real nice coins right now...you have to step up to the plate and play ball.

Nice coin. I always liked the Oregon series (I bought same date in MS64 a few months ago... similar toning as well). I love the design as well as the high relief. Stunning coinimage!!
