I would not dip that coin. There are already enough white coins to go around. That coin has character that you do not see on coins that are blast white.

I like it the way it is and dipping that coin will probably leave you with a very dull and very unattractive coin.

Had a suspicion this was a Pattern Piece but could find nothing about it in the reference books I have. Looks like a couple of others picked up on this also.

I won't dip this coin because I don't think it will look very nice. Besides, even if the process worked, all you would have would be another white Boone, and those things are a dime a dozen, numismatically speaking.

Leave it alone and enjoy the unique color. That coin has character.
