What is your opinion of the toning on this Jefferson nickel?

    Most coins have been messed with one way or another, intentionally or not.
    There's not a 100% way to prevent a coin from toning.
    The new "sniffer" is not going to be used to safeguard all collectors from AT coins.
    The lawsuit is more self serving than something that's going to benefit most folks. But your support is greatly appreciated.
    While a very small number actually have gone to great lengths to artificially tone expensive coins, much of the AT business involves the accidental discovery of how coins tone and the repeat of that process whether intentional or not, but will usually get the same results.
    While a lawsuit may bring a few heavy hitters to their knees, no-way will it solve the enormous problem most folks have when it comes to the proper way of storing coins.
