I GOT THESE COINS FROM AN OLD MAN WHO HATES TONED COINS

It looks phony as hell to me, but I live in the State of Confusion.

first impression is AT, look at the toning around 5:00 it seems to have moved like liquid.

If Coinguy1 doesn't mind me quoting his term I would say "SAT" also. No question.

That old man who hates toned coins must have lost his vision because he also had a 2002 silver eagle
that looks rather similar with purple paint.

Yeah, and a "bunch" more to come - as soon as they get done cooking. I wonder if aswimmer and bbycoin aka tonecoin2003 aka easyman can stand the new competition?

well, whether this seller is doing it himslef or got them that way, at least thats not all the guy sells; there are notes and other more natural looking toned as well as untoned coins available.

this particular dollar looks terrible though image

Yup,As long as nicely toned coins are bringing + premiums,we should see many more to come.
The toned coin sellers are getting their due so to speak today.
Most collectors in the not too distant past hated toned coins.
Now with the online buying and selling , with a little marketing push
on those big inventories of unwanted toners, some guys are doing
far better than they ever dreamed.
Now they pray the dream never ends.
All this AT stuff could kill it all though.

Let's put things into perspective. When someone ATs a coin they are damaging it and ruining it forever. Maybe this is your thing now, AH, but perhaps some time down the line you will realize that AT coins are a bad deal for the collectors of today and tomorrow. image
