I look forward to clarification of the new message board policy

To David/Mr. Hall/homerunhall (I'm afraid to just say Hall or singlehall, doublehall or even triplehall, until things are cleared up here
),
Whether I or others agree or disagree with your new policy, I think it is important that we be made aware of what is or is not ok under the new rules. Obviously, you can't address each and every possible infraction ahead of time, but, perhaps you could give us some real-life examples of previous posts that are now unacceptable? Or, at least some more specifics regarding your new policy?
I'm not trying to stir up trouble or make light of the situation. On the contrary, I am quite serious about this. I am concerned that some members might mistakenly be worried about saying things, when in reality, they have nothing to be concerned about. Others might have no worries when, in fact, they should. Neither of those situations are good things.
Help us (and yourself) out here? Thanks.

I've been trying to get some clarification from CU about this too. All to no avail.
Hopefully they are busy crafting a masterful document giving us certain unalienable
rights but leaving all the real power unto themselves. Until then, I will cower in the
shadows like the lurker I formally was.

That post was not constructive criticism from a customer, it was an attack from a competitor. I believe for PCGS to have that removed was fair game. I will be very surprised if we see any serious censoring here. Only in appropriate extreme situations.<B>

It looks like all we have to discuss now are important hobby related issues like what pet do you have. Oh well, it seems this is what many wanted.
or a hockey game. This Forum was never intended to compete with those types of activities.

You are not the only one to speculate about the post from across the street being the main straw to break the camel's/forum's (free speech) back. I don't know whether you folks are correct about that or not. Either way, though, my feeling is that several forum members have posted plenty of offensive messages directed at both PCGS and fellow board participants.
That's my personal take on it. Anyone who disagrees, including Mr. Hall, is no longer allowed to post here.
I clearly stated that the NGC post was posted by a member. Please read before using sarcasm. However, those were not the members views, they were the words of a competitor. Let the members voice their own opinions, even if they echo those of Mark Salzberg. If that were done I doubt it would be censored.
(Not!!)
one can go read it?? Link anyone??
Tim
probably without Mr Saltzbergs knowledge, just so a Forum member
could have it displayed on the PCGS Forum. It was intended to inflame, embarrass
and anger management. It was intended to see just how far the rubberband would
stretch before it broke. If this was not enough, then I am certain that another even more
outragious act would have been attempted. The people behind this act knew what they were doing
and why. To have failed to respond in any manner by management, would have been failure to exert
due and proper protection of the company assets and legitimate bussiness concerns.

I have heard it on good authority that all those attempting creative writing on the forum will be banned. I received this e-mail:
Clankeye:
If you had a day job, we would encourage you to keep it. But, you don't, do you? Ha! You are not funny, and even though none of us know what you look like, we are certain you are an insult to the eyes. We read your last "Good Morning Class" thread to a test group of retired morticians. They saw nothing amusing in it.
We're serious. You blow.
PCGS
Mark, I am left not knowing what to do or where to go. Please, advise. Your friend, Clankeye
Mr. Hall had secretly encourgaed me to start writing, in the hopes that you would take the hint and start looking for a day-time job. But, you just didn't take the hint, did you?
Now, on a serious note, it is time for a new chapter from you - I think it would be as welcome as ever. Just remember to tell Mrs. Coinboard about what's been going on here, lately.
<< <i>even though none of us know what you look like, we are certain you are an insult to the eyes. >>
I know what Clank looks like, and I think he's cute - in a '50's beatnik sort of way. Bwuahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

As for you Coinguy, good thing you are in Baltimore surrounded by an ocean of level-headed coin pros. I know how prone to flying off the handle you are. I knew there would be trouble when you saw HRH's post.
