    Jeremy, after spending $20 to download anti-virus software to clean the file that I downloaded from your post, I found the time to read your paper. Very nice job. It was worth the $20. Good luck with it.

    So how does one clean the virus? I tried to look at the paper and my computer hasn't acted right since.

    coppercoins, go to McAfee and download a virus detection and cleaning software for $29. That will fix it. They have a free download that will confirm if you are infected, but believe me, you are if you downloaded Jeremy's paper.

    You can also download free virus cleaners. Do a search on "anti-virus, free download" or some combination of those words in Yahoo or any search engine. You will find some free downloads that will allow you to try their software for 15-30 days, but then they want to bug you about buying. I just decided to spend the money and get it over with. Now I will be notified the instant that I have a computer virus and I can launch the cleaning utility.

    image I'm really sorry, guys... a free virus cleaner from downloads.com should do the trick. In my haste to get my new drive up and running, I forgot to reinstall Norton.

    For what its worth I just downloaded Jeremy's paper for the first time and ran Norton AntiVirus on it. Checks ok (my definitions are up to date).

    Thanks for sharing this Jeremy. I've got a couple of nice boring meetings tomorrow so this will be greatly appreciated image

    Here are the antivirus programs

    A lot of them have free trials, which should remove the bad files without paying anything. Go look a few down and you have a totally free one.

    Liberty- When I was made aware of the problem, I installed Norton (forgot to do that a few weeks ago) and cleaned up the files, then re-uploaded it... now it is clean.

    The virus is gone... I wiped it and fixed the file- everything is safe now
