Well Paul you are right. There are some Members here that are "mean & arrogant". That is an unfortunate aspect of the Forum. Fortunately, there are many Members that know how to act in a civil manner. They can make a point without attempting a personal attack on another Member. There are some Members with excellent knowledge of coins and can help with some perspective of the coin market. It is worth the crap to have the opportunity to gain the perspective of those Members. Those that wish to attack and call names usually have no knowledge of the thread's topic, have nothing meaningful to add and are posting for no other reason than to attempt to discredit someone by attacking and calling names. It's easy to ignore the ignorant. Hope you continue to read and post! Enjoy your time here!
OK, another forum member was kind enough to PM the thread to me. I never even read that thread, and the two members who suggested those tactics weren't really even the ones of us who were doing most of the exposing of an AT seller. Of course, since the originator of this thread, for whatever reason, disagreed with those of us who were doing the exposing, he conveniently lumped all of us together as far as supposedly employing these tactics.
I will state this again, and if anyone looks at the other threads you will see where I stated it before, I strongly disagree with contacting current bidders in ongoing auctions, and filing false chargebacks against sellers who have delivered the item. I do not know how much clearer I can make my position on this.
How CONVENIENT of Members to pass the link back and forth by PM. I knew I had read it as well. WHY HIDE IT? Post a link to the other thread right here. Let's let any interested Member read it right here!
I didn't post the URL for the thread because the author of this thread, who holds this topic so close to him, said that he knew where it was but would not post it. Therefore, when I requested someone to PM me the link I felt no obligation to sabotage his thread. Don't worry, DCAMFranklin, I'll PM it to you. D'OH, you don't have your PM enabled! Oh well...
TomB, Feel free to post it, I couldn't care less one way or another. I haven't seen it since the day ot was posted myself. I didn't go looking for it because I didn't need to. I remembered reading it, and the author of the topic was not the reason I cited it. I told K6AZ I would not go find it for him, but that comment was directed at him specifically, not everyone in general (He's a big boy, he can do his own investigative work).
I have nothing to prove, and there is nothing to prove. This is a matter of opinion, and because mine is in the miority, as others have stated, it was time to pile on (even in PMs!). I don't own this thread simply because I started it. If that were the case, it would have stayed on topic and likely had only 2-3 response from the people who actually addressed the topic in their replies.
I'm amazed this thing still lives. And this should kick it up again:
"The coin" is still out there, and below ask for the grade WITHOUT toning. So it appears I'm not the only one who has concerns as to the authenticity of the toning, as we all know what a slabbed, toned specimen does to the ask.

Perhaps if you want people to respond on topic, you shouldn't launch personal attacks.

Edited to add: Could it be that the discussion of reversing charges, etc was in one of the major posts that was heavily (or totally) edited out? >>
Nah, it was one of your threads.

And you posted to the thread after BAJJERFAN suggested using the Paypal chargebacks as a way of sabotaging ASwimmer's auctions.
