    How can someone sell PCGS coins and ACG coins at the same time? That is, with a straight face. I see Joel Rettew advertising all over the place. Although I have never looked at any of his stuff, I just assumed that they were a fairly reputable dealer. I no longer have that opinion. Also, look at their auction terms. Says that they adhere to ANA grading standards. Ha!

    Here’s a typical example of a Proof cent that has been poorly cleaned. It’s a piece of junk. It takes an expert of fool with this stuff, and even they can mess it up. The coin would have happier if it had been left in its original Proof set cellophane sleeve.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Dorkkarl, I didn't know that he was a Red Book contributor. Thanks. Actually, it looks like a father/son team, since there's a Joel Rettew, Jr. in addition to Joel Rettew. Jack Beymer is in the Red Book, but he doesn't sell total junk crap garbage like the proof Lincoln that is the subject of this thread. Makes me sick.

    I assume that the crooked dealers that are smart have a different eBay account with an anonymous name that is used to peddle crap to the uneducated or new collecting public. This guy must not be too sharp, imho.

    It doesn't translate well. It is only used in Spain, and is an insulting response to someone who has made a very idiotic statement.

    BTW, 'Pollo' is 'chicken,' and 'ola' is 'hello.' These words are different.
