I have been experimenting taking pictures of some of my coins with the digtial camera I got over the holidays. It's fun to share them with people so I thought I would post one of mine and ask others to do so too. I enjoy looking at your coins. Clankeye

PCGS 1882 PR66 BN - coin has beautiful blue toning around part of the circumference and flawless surfaces.

White specks may be feline dandruff on the plastic!

I found for a very long time I was intimidated by the world of digital cameras. Knowing nothing about them, it just seemed like a bigger mountain than I wanted to climb. But, let me assure anyone out there reading this, if I can do it, you can do it. My camera is relatively inexpensive, easy to use, works well for both macro (close up) and regular photography. Right now, all I am doing is taking hand-held pictures with a desk lamp as a lighting source. And I am not writing this thinking my pictures are awesome. The point is they are certainly better than what I had before (nothing) and that I would encourage people to give it a shot. I am enjoying the learning process very much.
