Just received my ANA membership packet complete with the secret hand shake and password.
Checked out the names of the ANA Board of Governors and didn't see any that I recognize from this forum... thought sure I'd see Lucy's name up there with the royalty. Twowood

By the way...Do they still run the annual picnic?

    griffin6 posts here occasionally (he's a former ANA governor). Gary Lewis and Barry Stuppler post on rec.collecting.coins, I believe. But I don't think any of the current board of governors post here (unless they are incognito).

    There's a picnic on July 4 at the ANA Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    When he is running for something and wants our votes. He is also the guy who told us to take it easy and wait with the ACG/ANA donation.

    He's the guy who told us that we'd see changes at the ANA over the ACG/ANA donation. We still haven't.

    I have given my wife an ANA application and the suggestion that she buy me a membership for Christmas for the past three years. This year she finally came through. So I secret handshake all my fellow ANA members. Oh No! I forgot the Password!image
