The auctions you won from lskrare are #1394286533 and #1394287140. total shipping was $15.00 to start and was knocked down to $10.00 after being repackaged. i doubt it. this forum represents the teeniest of slivers of the coin-collecting populace. if everybody on this forum suddenly stopped buying coins altogether, it would likely amount to practically haveing no effect on the mkt., & that's taking into account big-time buyers like anaconda, pinnacle & legend.
imo, it's much to easy from a macro perspective to overestimate the impact this forum has on the hobby, on the micro level, it may be quite influential on we individuals.
I would love to give you a summary, but that would be like watching the trailer for a great movie. Read the entire thread and any links that are included with it. It's worth it.

and seller we bought from,at least 150 or more. all because i asked him to confirm he was shipping what he showed in 2 lots we won. he was not. he is a beneath a snake's belly bait and switch "worst kind of scumbag there is,next to another who is the king of repacking already looked at proof sets,including 50-55 boxed sets,yes mint boxes(repacked with mint-used machinery and loads of mint purchased old stock materials and flats from 55-64 by the boooookoooods) anyway, that's another matter not ready yet. of course most they emailed forwarded them to us and told them flat out to go to hell with their obvious troublemaking tactics, most were already repeat buyers or fellow coin net dealers. naturaly they werent interested other than to foward the info to us as a first alert better do something about it. but of course it did cause many reneges,proven so and now a matter of record that those people are co-operating with us and ebay and his local d/a office with all the ness convicting information. the guy is just flat STUPID.

(gee thanks sloscum) then he goes and looks at our lots sees we are cameo dealers and say ok, if i do ship you those proof sets i presented maybe i ought to go up on the price. <- what? the lots closed and we were the high bid winners. all we wanted was you to confirm you hadnt baited us. then he proceeds to get his shill bidder to email others,us,etc. and it took all of about 4 or 5 exchanges to figure this punk out. next,he proceeds to call me and had several others cohorting with the scum to call asking for photo enhancing manuals and they also do the you gd mf i'll kill you bit from guess where (georgia) hmmm,wonder who that was? heh. soon, very soon. and how they are going to kill our mf'ing sob'ing as*es,etc,etc at least a dozen times. even was stupid enough to leave recorded messages with the mf,kill,die msgs my wife and daughter have to listen to. makes threats of his family is law enforcement covered so he essentially has immunity. even was stupid enough to call from his work he is a guard at all of which is on our caller id,photo'd phone #'s and the tapes sent to ebay. i called that # back to verify bill slocumb employment for a mortgage loan app. worked and yep,it's him. The auctions you won from lskrare are #1394286533 and #1394287140. total shipping was $15.00 to start and was knocked down to $10.00 after being repackaged. i doubt it. this forum represents the teeniest of slivers of the coin-collecting populace. if everybody on this forum suddenly stopped buying coins altogether, it would likely amount to practically haveing no effect on the mkt., & that's taking into account big-time buyers like anaconda, pinnacle & legend.
imo, it's much to easy from a macro perspective to overestimate the impact this forum has on the hobby, on the micro level, it may be quite influential on we individuals.
