    segoja,

See my post immediately before yours. Jeff and I talked about many things, but posting here never even came up.

    Russ,

You are correct. Guess I didn't read close enough.

In any case appreciate all your thoughts. I just have to be nice....having too much fun for the holidays.

  • Segoja- Don't be fooled by additional lies. After Doops posts for the first time to this thread

    Doops Link

Guess who is the first Member to post with the comment of, "Ah, things are getting interesting now."? You guessed it Russ.

That after a previous post where Russ states the following, "I've had some lengthy and interesting eMail conversations with Jeff and, while he certainly is no angel and has earned some of his reputation, let's just say there are two sides to every story."

It doesn't take a private investigator to connect the dots on this situation.

First off i am sorry Segoja , . I do however hope pepperdooodles can and will resolve this with you.

  • Any Member that reads the auction description for Segoja's coin and would expect to receive a coin with an obverse cameo that grades a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale for cameo, please stand up and be heard. Here is a link to the auction:

    Segoja's Type1 Franklin

    @!!*"

Hey guys and gals read this and tell me you would expect to receive a mediocre, 5 on a 1 to 10 scale for cameo, cameo obverse Franklin? I sincerely doubt it. image

People -With the threat of terrorist attacks, War with Iraq and a Nuclear stand off with N. Korea,

this argument seems out of all proportion to any measure of reality.

Why dont we all take a deep breath, and get back to a state of calm and civility.

Take the hype word out of the auction title and what do you have? PCGS 1956 TYPE1 PR66 CAMEO. yawn........
If it went from $1,000 to $4,000 in the next grade I would send it in 10 times too hoping to get lucky.
If I read that the owner had already sent it in 4 times I would think it's not that great nor a PQ coin.
Sellers that use the caps lock key do make the listings hard to understand.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

  • HEY BIGDAVE. THE 2 NEG. THAT YOU REFER TO IN THE BAIT AND SWITCH LINE. DID YOU SEE THE PICTURES OF THE COINS OR READ THE DESCRIPTIONS. IT WAS NOT THE COINS, OLE PEPPERDOODLES HAD THE PROBLEM WITH IT WAS THE SHIPPING CHARGES. AND THEN HE STARTED WITH THE BAIT AND SWITCH. I KNOW BECAUSE IT WAS ME. AND I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING ELSE ANYONE WHO CALLS A E-BAY MEMBER AT 1:00 am. DIDN'T GET HIT IN THE HEAD WITH THE 4x 4 HARD ENOUGH. IT IS THE SAME OLD STORY WITH PEPPERDOODLES, HE WANTS TO BUY $100.00 WORTH OF COINS FOR $10.00. WELL ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE WATCHING HIS AUCTIONS AND WINNING THEM. HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO RESORT TO SNIPING IF HE WANTS TO WIN ANYTHING ON E-BAY AGAIN. LAST BUT NOT LEAST HOW SUCCESSFUL IS HE IF ONLY 1 OUT OF 50 OF HIS AUCTIONS ON E-BAY SELLS.

  • e-bAY item #3302471178

Why does the description say cameo, heavy+ heavy+. the coin is a proof 65 AND THAT IS IT. And if it was sent to PCGS maybe only 64.
  • Well said!
  • Am I to understand our own DCAMfranklin also goes by "gemfranklins2@netscape.net" on eBay?

good investigating russ. with 4 or 5 id's,shill bidding id's galore, ebay auction interference well into the dozens on us as well as a DIRECT connection 1+1 = 2 to a most outspoken bs'ing 2 differently named c/u member names. it is ALL under ebay safe harbor investigation and the c/u board o/d is aware of the defamation attempts on us here and it will all conclude soon. unfortunately with many on the booted end of the deal. i will expect a few apologies in the end and in some cases demand one publicly. i know some wont give one just to save face but it will be clearly understood. and yes, sego is instigating right along with them trying to cause ill and harm upon sandy and i while acting as mr cozy collector friend. BS! all it takes is a little common sense knowing these punks and their cohorts are extremely prevalent on ebay and love to drag others into their sickeness. all it takes is a little footwork to learn who is right and who aint. we've done ours, always do and on this one in particular have been for many weeks now. so has ebay and roadrunner for viruses sent from these locales we copied our hardrive for them (rr) to decode originating pathways. keep inquiring and looking further folks instead of shooting from the hip.

  • Russ, Russ, Russ Russ- Are you making unsubstantiated accusations, AGAIN? Aren't you tired of being proven wrong? First you say that Tate and I are the same person using 2 different ID's on this Forum. You were proven wrong.

Then you say that I am "stalking" your auctions. And you are proven wrong. In reality it is you that is pleading and begging with 'Ol Pepperdoodles to come on this Forum, hoping he can "out" me. What you have NEVER realized is that he has absolutely NO idea of my identity. NONE!

    Mr. Funderburke,

You seem to think that I am insitgating everything. As I metioned to you in my second or third e-mail, I did not need to go far to find exisitng threads about you............and I might add, long before the 56 half.

Guess I really conspired to create a thread months before your auction. Facts, my friend, facts. They will not hurt you.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the flight!!! You're the pilot.

As you say, take it like a man. I'm eating the coin because I screwed up. I jsut don't want others to make the same mistake.

Agree to state very clearly in EVERY auction your return policy for slabbed coins... NO RETURNS PERIOD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES and I will not tag on to ANY thread that mentions Pepperdoodles, Jeff, Mr. Funderburke, Doops or any other acronym that you use.

james, ever been parachuting?? that first time you have the nads to get 10,000 feet up they all need the view out the side door to see what they are about to partake. then they ALWAYS need the kick in the butt out of it with a few words of necessity "count to ten and pull the rip coooooooorrrrrrrrdddddddd" try it bud,it keeps you alive and in a continuation of life mode. you are fast becoming the whingingest most irresponsible part time coin dealer i have ever known
  • segojasegoja Posts: 6,134 ✭✭✭✭
    Mr. Funderburke,

    Part-Time you got it right.

Never parachuted, but I've hung of the side of some of the most famous cliffs in the world. Eiger, Matterhorn, Yosemite's biggest, Grand Teton, Ranier ( 8 winter ascents), Denali et.al. Some of these are 2-3 week adventures, requiring years of training. I think parachuting is alll about the jump. Glad to take any jump.

Not sure where you are going, but it doesn't seem like a mumismatic conversation to me.

I ask but one thing....... the same thaing many on this forum are asking......state your return policy every time all the time.

No head trauma here (well, outside of that ANACS PO01 09-S VDB I found myself buying yesterday. . .).
When I visited with Mitch (Wondercoin) at the Long Beach convention he showed me a beautiful run of these early holdered CAM Franklins and I was impressed.

I've wanted to spring into this series and thought this one was a good place to make that leap. image

One out of 12, and if the guy who bid on the one sees this he can still change his mind. Doesn't seem like anyone can make money with numbers like these. oh yes we have NO RETURN POLICY.
