17 bids, and up to $2,085.Considering the demand for these in general, that may be a steal for 2 grand.
    PCGS PF70 DCAM...Most are 69 and 68s.
BTW in comparison,Whats the `95W SAE go for these days...I,ll look it up I guess..........

    To answer my own question....
Did they spell `original` right? lol minor typo.Major haze though on the PUP IGWT.ugh.Not incurable though.

.back to this thread...Hey ,yall know I still have my Buff $1s Cob sent from a charity drive a couple years ago?

They hit a high of $2800 last year. He had this listed last week with and it got up to $2500 and didn't hit the reserve.

I bought a pair of MS70/PR70's for $3500 to add to my modern commemorative proof set last year and sold the MS70 for $1800.

If the Buffalo (pop 16) is pulling in 2k, I think I need to relist my pop 12 West Point...

well for me i ask yourself two questions
what is this coin worth out of its holder?
and if out of the holder the price goes down substancially?

    then let the buyer beware

and if you still want to buy this coin that is okie it is all about supply and demand

i had someone i know buy a pop one proof 65 ultra cameo 1870's date three cent nickel in a holder
that out of the holder is still an ultra cameo coin and 65 anyday of the week for less than 2100, this pf 70 dcam 2001 buff is currently at

but i guess money talks and bull walks so i guess in many peoples minds this is the coin to buy this 2001 buff and that is okie

just make sure you do not break this coin out of its respective holder

    sincerely michael

Pretty stupid to pay that type of money for a coin that looks exactly like a quarter million others.

oH YA.Only reason to EVER crack it out it is to reholder it due to damaged holder. That number on the insert(70)means EVERYTHING sorry to say.Not that thats buying the plastic and not the coin. Its really buying the coin. That is to say,if you can not detect any flaws yourself and agree its a 70.
I,ve seen scans of 70s that looked flawed to me.But thats scans and may not have been the actual coin but a stock photo.....

Hmmmmm -Good Observation. 68,69,70? That makes my 2001 Cap Vis Ctr S$1 PR67DCAM a true rarity. Heck it has a Pop of only 12, less than the Pop 17 of this Buffalo. I think I'll list it tomorrow on ebay. Should bring a fortune. Any body want to make an offer before I list it. HEHE

Edited to correct my lousy spelling.
  • R&I site has NGC PF70UCAM AND MS-70 listed for $995.00 a set.

    Fats,
did you buy that CVC on ebay? I sold one a few months back.

I got it from the mint and submitted myself. Sent it with several other modern commems and eagles and all others came back 69. I have tried to figure out why a 67 and have no idea. They all look exactly the same to me.

I would suggest no one make a hasty bid on this PR67DCAM rarity. A pop of 12 today, but a pop of 13 or 14 a year from now.

However, I have a pop 1 coin that is likely to remain a pop 1 and I am willing to sell. It comes with it's own Registry Set where they are NONE finer.

I will entertain all serious offers on this coin.

    $15.00

Cameron, thank you for you bid. However, I have to question if you put the decimal place in the wrong place and meant to bid $1500. instead? After all, this is a pop 1 coin and the pop 17 Buffalo dollars have been selling for close to $3000. This coin is a pop 1.

Did I mention it is a pop 1?
  • $20.00 and the decimal is in the right place.image I sell Braddick alot of Pop 1 coins and they all have been under $80.00 - and alot older.
