Increase your resolution (600-1200dpi instead of 200-400dpi) the more resolution the bigger the picture.

Yes, but isn't there a limitation on the size of "attachments" or did that only apply for icons?

Oh, and my crappy ol' scanner couldn't envision 600 - 1200 dpi; I don't think I'm in the minority, either. I could be though.
