The year is 2010. You are at a major coin show and a door prize raffle results are announced.
You can't believe your ears, the winning number matches your ticket. You come to the booth and
are told that there is another drawing being held an hour after yours, there are only two coins left
, you can only pick one of the two, leaving the last one for the final drawing. The two coins in front
of you are both certified by PCGS.
They are:
1. 1999D GA 25c PCGS-MS67
2. 1881S S $1.00 PCGS-MS67
both coins are brillian white and after inspecting both , you agree with the grades,
which coin do you select, remember , the year is 2010. Is it 1 or 2?
Have fun collecting!

See ya on the other side, Dudes.
quarter a better choice. Would it be a pop 1 coin. I don't know.

I had a really nice 1858-O Seated Half in PCGS MS-62 I sold for $400. I'd rather have that coin in 2010 even though its worth much less than those other two are today.
If I had to pick one I'd go for the 1881-S $1. I agree with the person who said the GA Qtr is much rarer but everyone who wants one will have one making them worth very little.
The 25C Ga. may be low pop now. We'll see in 8 years.

In 2010 the MS67 Morgan will probably still be priced around $500 or less, so considering possible upside on the GA quarter to none on the Morgan, I'll take the Quarter.
BTW, I already have one PCGS MS67 1999-D GA Quarter.
...and the winning number could never match mine.
I'd take whichever is the more valuable. If the 1,200 Georgia coins I've seen
are in any way indicative of all of them made then there is little doubt about
which coin is rarer.

If I have to pick now, then I'd go with the quarter for the same reason as MJCoin. The 1881-S is extraordinarily easy to find in high grade, the series is already wildly popular, so there's very unlikely to be any upside surprise.
On the quarter side, it is currently only a fraction of the population. Also in 2010 the state quarter series will have just ended, and perhaps collecting them in high-grade will have become wildly popular. So even if the population grows ten-fold or more, it could still be signficantly more valuable. That is, of course, if it will cross to CGSOTD* MS67 holder.

I'd pick the Franklin too, but since it wasn't a choice I'd go with the Morgan, unless it's AT.
