Are the Big Time Coin Businesses in competition with one another?

Is the "Coin Industry" (I know, I dislike that term too) a Good ol Boys club? Do all the Big Time Market Makers get along? Or, is their a competitive rivalry among the various Dealers?
I've overheard whispering and backstabbing but have never seen a public display of ourward disaproval between competing Dealers. Or, maybe I'm calling it all wrong and the attitude is there is enough business for everyone.
Now, if the Dealers treated each other like Politicians during a campaign! ::Shesh:: That would be rough.

I will not "name names," but it often gets ugly. There appears to be a group of "good guys," and then there is everybody else.

I feel this board is a microcosm of what goes on with the dealers.

Oh the egos! That's one part of this hobby that really makes my stomach turn.
